About Dr. Becker
Steven H. Becker, DDS, opened his private practice in 1983. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery and the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Each year, Dr. Becker participates in continuing education programs to ensure he complements his years of experience with the latest in research, technology and procedures.
Additionally, he is a member of the American Dental Association, a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Maryland Dental Implant Study Club.
Each year, Dr. Becker also participates in community service programs, including in-school workshops on oral hygiene and public seminars on cosmetic dentistry. His practice also hosts an annual Halloween party for patients and adopts a family during the holidays. Dr. Becker donates services to the Maryland program for those who need quality dental care but cannot afford it.
In his spare time, Dr. Becker enjoys yoga, racquetball, and snow skiing. He is an avid Orioles and Ravens fan. He and his wife Gayle enjoy traveling, and together they have four children–sons Kevin and Michael, and daughters Ali and Shelby.
About Dr. Kimberly Ford
Dr Ford is a native of Michigan who has been living in Maryland since 1998.She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1992, and graduated in the top ten percent of her class from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1998.Dr Ford participates in continuing education programs, and recently became certified to treat Invisalign and Sedation Dentistry patients.
She has also volunteered for Safari Dentist, in Kenya and Hands Across the Americas in Peru.
About Dr. Wendy Burstein
Dr. Wendy Burstein is our Periodontist! She attended the George Washington University as an undergraduate, majoring in Speech and Hearing Science. She then studied dentistry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where she received her D.D.S. in 2001.
Dr. Burstein was selected to be a member of the Periodontal Clerkship Program and received the Northeastern Society of Periodontics Award in 2001. She also completed advanced specialty training in the field of Periodontics at the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. She has a Masters in Oral Biology defending her thesis on Periodontal Regenerative Materials.
Dr. Burstein became a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology and was elected as a Fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy in 2006. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology. In addition to her private practice, she is currently a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Maryland Dental School.
